"The facility is very close to everything that I wanted. I was able to comfortably walk to Pena palace, Moorish Castle, Quinta, and finally to the train station when it was sadly time for me to leave. The coffee shops do not open very early in Sintra, so I very much appreciated that they have a coffee machine in the lobby. The room is small, but it was exactly what I needed as a solo traveler."

"The staff at Chalet Saudade were exceptionally friendly. We were able to store our luggage before check in and after check out. The free welcome drink was a nice touch. The breakfast that was included in our rate was as very good. I highly recommend this property."

"We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend! Private parking is easy, beautiful grounds and hotel which used to be an aristocratic residence. A bit of faded grandeur in places but still retaining a lot of elegance. There is a pool too. Staff friendly and helpful. Well located for the main Sintra sights, walk to Nat’l Palace and several good restaurants/cafes."
