"They are really making an effort to cater to folks wanting a quiet space to relax and enjoy the region. It is a working farm, but the fresh food in the morning is a joy. They also do a set dinner if there are enough guests and it some good honest cooking from the staff and the menu varies daily. "The Masseria Santacatrina is a wonderful unexpected surprise. The owners and staff are gracious and terrific keepers of this 6 generation farm. The rooms are neatly appointed and well thought out. You do need a vehicle however it is centrally located to explore from Etna to Agrigento. We will definitely stay here again. "

"The property is very beautiful and the views of the sea from the slope of the Etna are spectacular. Very quiet, comfortable accommodations, very nice swimming pool. The location is excellent, a short drive to the sea and also close to Taormina and Catania, which was very convenient. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay very much. I would love to go back for a longer stay."

"Very Nice place and very quiet . You can stay there without any doubt in the middle of lemon and olive trees, you will be comfortable there. The farm is pleasant with horses, chickens and donkeys (nice for children). The house is very beautiful from the outside and the inside is quite simple but sufficient. The swimming pool and the garden are a real plus to be comfortable. Thank you again."

"What an incredible place! Situated just beneath the city of Paterno but in the beautiful and quiet country you have an amazing view of the Etna. The rooms are comfortable and spotlessly clean.The food is just delicious (try the pesce spada) and Signora Maria is the kind soul of the place. I will return!"
