"I recently had a wonderful stay at this hotel and just had to share my experience! From the start, the service was top-notch. We particularly enjoyed the younger man at the bar—his professionalism was really impressive, and he made our evenings even more enjoyable. The location was another big plus. It’s super walkable, so we could easily explore nearby shops and restaurants without any hassle. Our room was clean and comfortable, which really made a difference. Plus, room service was outstanding. Every meal we ordered was prompt and delicious. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would definitely choose to stay again in the future. Highly recommend!"

"We stayed at The Lakeside Hotel & Leisure Centre for one night after arriving in Ireland, and it was a perfect start to our trip. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the property itself is beautiful. It's set on lovely, quiet grounds with a fantastic view of the River Shannon from our room. The bed was very comfortable, and we appreciated the peace and quiet after a long travel day. The nearby town is charming and just a short walk away, which made for a nice evening stroll. The hotel was quite busy due to the bank holiday, but it still felt relaxed and well managed overall. Dinner was enjoyable, though our table could have been a bit tidier, with a few crumbs on top and bits underneath. That said, breakfast the next morning made up for it. The manager went out of his way to accommodate us even though we arrived late. He was a real standout — friendly, efficient, and helpful. One small note: the Guinness pouring could use a little fine tuning. Only one of the three we ordered was poured properly, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience. We would happily stay again and recommend The Lakeside Hotel to anyone looking for a scenic, restful stop in a lovely part of Ireland."
