"Check-in time was 2-6 PM. 6PM is too early. I had to make special arrangements to check in at 8PM. There was confusion over my departure date. The owner asked me to leave a day early out of her confusion, but later got it straight. The WiFi was terrible—reception was okay, but it was limited access not allowing access to most web sites."

"Had a great time! My wife and I took three of our grandkids to visit the Ape Cave, and Mt St Helens, which are both about an hour to 1.5 away. The house was great. Very comfy, and stocked with everything we needed. Castle Rock is a short 10-15 min drive, and Kelso not much further if you need a mall or movie theater. It is right on the lake, with it’s own private dock. There is a 15’ canoe for your enjoyment as well. "

"My family stayed over Thanksgiving break. There was a window of fantastic weather with clear skies. We would start the day with coffee on the porch, watching the ducks play in the lake. Then we daytripped to Portland to hike. We drove up towards the mountains for breathtaking views of Mt Ranier and Mt St Helens. Then we would come back and cuddle up by the fireplace. Kara's home feels just like that - home. We would love to go back there next winter, or even during the summer to enjoy the lake....

Windows are single pane though, we were lucky it was a quiet night but if it had been loud outside it could have been annoying. "
