The entire town of Silver Gate has a population of around 100. They have a general store and a small cafe right across the street but I recommend stocking up on essentials for your stay."

"Our stay at this vacation house in Montana was absolutely unforgettable. Located just a short drive from Yellowstone, the house was in the perfect spot — close enough to a charming town with a cozy cafe serving delicious breakfasts and quaint little shops, yet wonderfully secluded, situated right on a peaceful stream that made us feel completely immersed in nature. The house itself was spacious, immaculately clean, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It had that perfect mix of rustic charm and modern amenities. We loved waking up to the soothing sounds of the stream and starting our mornings with coffee on the deck, surrounded by stunning mountain views. The location couldn’t have been better. After exploring Yellowstone during the day, it was so nice to return to this serene retreat. We enjoyed stargazing in the clear Montana sky, and the wildlife spotting right from the property made our experience even more magical. The thoughtful touches in the home — like the fully stocked kitchen, luxurious bedding, and a welcome basket — made us feel right at home. "This property sits right in the small town of Silvergate just outside the entrance to the park. It was a perfect rental if you want to enjoy beautiful surroundings in Montana and Yellowstone park. Marcia, the owner/host could not be friendlier and more knowledgeable about the area. She was fantastic and everyone in the area knows her. The home was comfortable and welcoming. I would definitely look to rent this property the next time we visit this area!!!"

"My friend and I enjoyed the cabin and the quaint, small town of Silver Gate and neighboring town of Cooke City!! The location is perfect to begin the beautiful Beartooth Highway to Red Lodge and enter Yellowstone National Park. So interesting to realize that this cabin was a gas station so many years ago!"
