"We have to say, this is the cleanest vacation rental we have ever rented. Most vacation rentals are clean enough, but this one was spotless. We had a pet friendly rental. You would never have guessed a pet had ever entered the rental it was that clean. It is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the view. There is a balcony off the living/dinning room and one off the bedroom. This property does have a quiet period making it a very peaceful place to stay. There were no late-night parties, or loud crowds. Everyone was respectful of the property rules. There is a beautiful courtyard to sit and enjoy the flowers on the property and the beach. For those including the family dog, they have stations on site with disposable bags to clean up dog waste and containers to dispose of it. There is no supply of spices to prepare meals. Those items would need to be personally supplied for personal use. However, we do not use spices and other items left in vacation rentals for varied reasons. We always either bring or supply our own and take them with us when we leave. Items supplied included coffee filters, paper towels, dish soap individual use pouches of coffee, sugar, wrapped tea bags. Supplied for personal use there was individually packaged soap and individual use shampoo, conditioner, lotion and makeup removers. The staff at this site were all very friendly and helpful."

We did not use the pool but it looked great when we walked through it to check out the docks. Staff was great. Kitchen had most everything we needed...everything you would expect. "What a cute place, and a great location with a private trail to the beach about a 5 minute walk. We really liked: Location, having a nice upstairs area for the teens, the cleanliness of the place, charming decor, location 5 minutes from Otter Rock and 10-15 from Newport, a nice grassy area with picnic tables, being close to a long sandy beach where you can watch the surfers and walk for miles if you want. It really is a unique property and they've done a lot with it! Sounds like the couch is going to be replaced soon too.We didn't like: The WiFi. It's passable if you sit right next to the window on the first floor, but non-existent in the rest of the house on both floors, meaning the router must be in another of the units.. If you have bad weather and are stuck inside, it'll likely be frustrating. Homeowner said they would send someone over to check it, but nothing improved. Thankfully, we had decent weather for the most part, although I heard plenty of complaining at night from the teens! LolA suggestion: It would be nice to have an option to get a towel refresh if you're staying 3 nights.Overall, the property is good and we enjoyed our stay! Be sure to keep an eye out for the local artist that sits on the north side of Yaquina Bay or Starbucks in Newport, weather depending. If you smile at him, he'll let you choose one of his gallery quality pictures for free in exchange for signing his book. Was the highlight of our trip."
