"Lovely cottage with living space upstairs so you can enjoy views over the valley. Cottage is kept well and wouldn’t consider it ‘tired’ as some reviews indicate. The sofas are now a nice grey, rather than the red in photos. It isn’t near any shops etc bar pubs but nothing is too far away. Try the lovely bake house born and bred at Greenodd. "The property is very clean comfortable and well equipped. The bed and sofa are very comfortable. The owner is very approachable and helpful if you have any problems (which we didn't) but not intrusive. There are lots of things to do within an easy drive of the property. We had a very enjoyable and relaxing stay and would defiantly go back again."

"Lovely cottage and had everything you could want need, swimming pool was great and perfect for groups of people who also want their own space. "On first entering it felt a little clinical and having stayed in boathouses before we were a little disappointed. However the boathouse grew on us and the sun sets were amazing to watch over the lake. The boathouse has everything you need except wifi or any DVD’s to watch. The TV speakers are not great either and a new TV in the living area would help. The shower is amazing also. All in all now one of our favourite places to stay due to the above. "Cute cottage stay however a bit dated. We arrived at night, in the dark, and it was very challenging to get the keys. Once in the it was freezing as the heaters werent on and there were no towels. Imagine our surprise when our 8 year old ran up to take a warm bath in this cold and then nothing to dry off with. The water hearee boost struggled the frist day. "
