"Lovely spacious apartment right in the heart of the old town. It was a little noisy but I would expect this due to the location and it didn't go on too late. "Ideal location Good communication Cleanliness questionable, wasn’t sure if apartment had been cleaned prior to arrival-two towels dumped on top of washing machine so not sure if clean or not so had to wash and dry prior to use. Bin in bathroom and kitchen were full and smelt because of used nappies in them. Sink strainer had food debris in it and the floor was dirty. Shame because it had everything that we needed for the weekend at a good price "

"Nice area, walking to downtown, big rooms, with decent kitchen, no TV, shower very tight you can pass from hot to cold water just by moving accidentally with your elbow. There is a bad odor coming from the water pipes in all the building (old installations)."

"Well located, spacious and functional apartment with good cable channels, Wi-Fi, kitchen and washing machine. The apartment is quite hot in summer and there is no ventilation in the bedroom. There is a mobile air-con unit but it leaks water onto the floor. Also, the low quality bed sheets did not fit the mattress and they became uncomfortable every night when they came loose. It is a shame that they didn't simply have proper sheets, and they should provide a top sheet."

"Nice place in a good location, very friendly service. Big enough for a family of four, accommodates in the extreme case even 8 people. The negative sides: (i) extremely noisy, because right downstairs is a popular pub. Hence not recommended for a family stay; (ii) the beds were very uncomfortable, making it difficult to sleep. Also night tables and reading lamps would be nice."

"The apartment is better than the description. The building is beautiful and the owner lives and works there so you can always ask for help. A washing machine is a help. There is a tram stop (#5) in front of the home and from there I can go anywhere on connecting buses and trams. It is very quiet outside and easy to sleep. I stay in a lot of rental properties and this was an excellent choice and a great value for what I received."

"This beautiful hotel was probably the nicest place I’ve ever had the opportunity to stay at. It was an unexpected joy. The staff was impeccable, the room was spacious and well appointed. The heated bathroom floors were a lovely discovery. I have never seen a breakfast buffet so expansive and inclusive. You also have the option to order from the menu as they have a chef there preparing omelettes, pancakes, etc. Excellent espresso drinks as well. We dined at the restaurant upstairs and the food was so good. I had the lobster and my partner had the strip loin steak (on the recommendation of the waiter) and everything was perfectly cooked. They had mock-tails and NA sparkling wine which we appreciated since neither of us drink alcohol. The desserts were a work of art. Thank you for a lovely stay and we will definitely be back not only for this hotel, but for Riga as well. "
