"The proprietor, Helga, was super-nice and helpful. She told us all about the history of the little town and what to expect on our drive around Iceland. The room was comfortable, with a truly spectacular view out the front window. But be aware: there are four bedrooms, and there's only ONE bathroom! We were fortunate to be the only couple there that night, but otherwise, contention for the bathroom would have been a hassle."

Unfortunately, we had to leave early in the morning before breakfast, but the kind young woman who checked us in brought us some pastries and other breakfast items to enjoy on our next-day early-morning drive.
