"We stayed at Secrets in Los Cabos for six nights, opting for a more relaxing vacation this time—something different from the typical party-all-night vibe of downtown Cabo. Since the resort is located in San José del Cabo, it offered the perfect balance: peaceful and laid-back, with the option to join in on some fun if you felt like it.
The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the check-in process was smooth. We arrived quite early but were allowed to use the facilities and grab some food while our room was being prepared, which was a great start to the trip.
We booked a swim-out room—highly recommended if you’ve never done it before. It’s absolutely worth the extra cost. The grounds were beautifully manicured, with lush landscaping and a luxurious feel throughout the property. It’s a great place for a stroll, day or night, with all the lighting making it especially enchanting after dark.
The hibachi restaurant was excellent, but make sure to line up around 3:30 PM to secure a reservation for the hibachi table—it fills up quickly, and they stop taking names once it’s full. We didn’t get to do the hibachi table experience but still enjoyed a delicious meal at a regular table.
The Mexican restaurant was solid, and the seafood spot down by the water was outstanding—beautiful setting and exceptional service.
There are still so many resorts we’d like to explore in the area, but we would definitely recommend Secrets and will most likely return at some point."

"The pool staff was excellent. I wish I remembered all their names to thank them, but Nico and Andreas really took care of us.
The food is VERY good for the price, including the pool food. This was our 2nd family trip here in last 4 months."
"I can't say enough great things about this property! I am so glad we chose RIU Palace, it was everything and more of what we had in mind. The views are stunning! The entire place is immaculate, they are constantly working to maintain the place and it shows. The staff.....everyone is so amazing. Friendly, quick service, totally there to make guests experiences the best they can. I would absolutely recommend this resort. One tip, no jewelry at all on the water slides. I wish I would have known this in advance, since my husband and I weren't comfortable leaving our wedding rings unattended we had to take turns going down the slides with the kids. Not a big deal, just good to know in advance. "
"The property is very good, room space big enough, however when I check in there’s a front staff who’s name is Amor, served with bad attitude, I told her there’s a bag missing from our luggage, she say” your room is not ready you don’t need your luggage”, I know but I al looking for my luggage, she ask” do you need your luggage now?” I said no I don’t need the luggage now but I am telling you that I am missing 1 bag, she said because you don’t need your luggage now? I was so confused, so where is the missing bag? She said if you don’t need your luggage your luggage will be put in the bell room, do you want take it with you?
Then why just tell me the bag is in the bell room instead keep asking me do I need my luggage.
