"Truly remarkable experience in an 800 year old castle. The grounds are beautiful and include olive trees on the farm. Great views. Quaint experience with the owners who run the castle as a bed and breakfast. Our suite easily accommodated our family of five. We are grateful for the intimate breakfast the following morning. "We absolutely loved Anne’s gracious house, which was spacious and well appointed. Thoughtful amenities and a well equipped kitchen helped us cook some great meals, and the surrounding countryside provided plenty of hill villages and restaurants and walks. "We had 4 people in our party. We stayed for 5 nights. Villa was absolutely beautiful! Views from veranda and patio area were stunning! Villa was decorated nicely and had a lot of basic provisions. "This was a lovely location just north of Siena. I think ideally, I would stay south of Siena to avoid some traffic coming and going. Simona was very kind; she and her husband helped us out when our rental car gave us oil warning and the dipstick was dry. Unfortunately, I had not noticed a notice online that the pool was closed by the time we were staying there as we had looked forward to using it."

"Quaint property offering peace and quiet in the Tuscany foothills. The food is excellent and the staff is more than willing to make your stay comfortable and memorable. We spent one afternoon by the pool in a luxurious cabana. For those traveling with large groups, keep in mind this is a smaller boutique hotel that is a 10-minute taxi ride to the town of Siena & you must make dinner reservations each night as they account for food quantity. The staff truly made our stay memorable!"
