"I recommend getting a room in the main building if possible. I was in a side building with no elevator, and with some physical issues I had, it was difficult to carry my bags. The restaurant was excellent, and known for its grilled beef dishes. The hotel is conveniently located for bicycling along and into the nearby hills. It's also conveniently located for hiking. There is a small pool, but with an air jet that is powerful enough to use for lap swimming (without a lap). There are also three saunas."

"Whenever I come to Pirmasens, this is my first choice hotel. Great atmosphere, super breakfast. Comfortable and extremely clean room, easy parking and just outside the town centrex so nice and quiet. The top choice"

"I would like to downgrade this hotel for the rude female receptionist who refused to get me ice for my diabetes medicine today, but the breakfast was 6 star, so it took my rating back from 4 stars to 5 stars. I still recommend this hotel and found the ice I needed anyways, although the Proseco on the buffet maybe slightly warmer. :p"
