"Its an older but well kept, clean and renovated hotel. We had a beautiful ocean view from room. Room basic and dated but clean and well Kept. Great location for a quick stay. Breakfast was good and tons of restaurants and cafes around."

"I liked that many little extras were thought of, like a night light, shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom. However, a kettle a spare blanket were missing. Also, the back door lock was faulty. It was very difficult to get it to lock properly, to secure our room."

"Loved our stay. We just have a few suggestions. The bathroom fan needs to be connected. Fixing the bedroom window handle so we had the ability to open it would be great. It was very warm when we arrived. We found the pillows and bed not firm enough."

We were en route to Salt Spring Island so this was a short visit. However, Sidney is a really pleasant surprise. We ate at a Japanese restaurant and then splurged on a cheese-tasting at The Farmer's Daughter - it was terrific.
