"Despite initial difficulty finding the place at the first time, the overall experience staying here was great. Ahmed proactively contacted me via WhatsApp and provided useful instructions. His entire family was welcoming and when his Mother learned that I couldn't stay for breakfast, she offered to cook me dinner. That was best couscous I’ve ever tried in my life. Amazing hospitality, clean and safe place to stay while in Fes. Certainly recommended to others. "

"Riad Toyour was the highlight of our amazing trip to Morocco. Specifically, Isa and Idris were fantastic hosts, they helped us with everything possible and make us feel welcome from the minute we arrived in Fes. The riad itself is beautiful, with birds chirping and nice views from the rooftop. There was nothing better than a late night cup of tea from our balcony. We cannot wait to return to Fes and Riad Toyour, and the wonderful staff who work there. "

"Margorie and Pascal have created a piece of heaven in this beautifully chaotic ancient city. They have taken great care in curating a clean, lovely and tastful home, and treat their guests like royal family! The views from our room were stunning and the freshly-prepared food served on the terrace was simply amazing to the point that I would have preferred to dine there for our meals - so delicious! My son and I look forward to staying with them on our next trip back, which I hope will be sooner...

"We enjoyed two nights (29-30 March 2024). The Riad is super clean. Our superior suite on the top floor with three beautiful large windows and a very comfortable king size bed was spacious. The bathroom and large shower was also spacious with towels, a hand wash cloth and bathrobes. There is a nice roomy area with two chairs to enjoy some relaxing time. The breakfast was excellent. "The location is unbeatable. A stones throw from the entrance to the ancient city which is the reason to visit Fes. The WiFi is very good. The water supply is also very good. Staff are helpful but limited English. Its a safe place too, no issues there. Breakfast mainly variety of breads with jam and butter coffee or tea. But the room is basic and no soap provided. I didn't have a soap dish or bath mat or towel rack. Room for improvement there. However for the rate and helpful staff I'd recommend...

"We stayed in the Amber room for Three nights. Spacious, massive bathroom, hot shower (not that you really need it), functioning aircon and wifi. Plunge pool a godsend after walking around Medina in 44deg! Not difficult to find after the first time, reasonable walk to restaurants, although catering was available. Friendly staff. Genuine riad experience."

"The staff were fantastic. Anwar, Ali and the rest really went out of their way for us. The breakfast is great (you can have it on the terrace). One of the staircases is a bit steep, but take the other staircase and you'll be fine. The view from the terrace is breathtaking. Riad Braya is very accessible too - just tell your taxi to go to the Dar Batha Museum roundabout (that has Fes Heritage Boutique on it, as is fontaine batha) and follow the alleyway in which Cinema Cafe is in. Keep going straight for about 5-6 minutes and Riad Braya will be on your right (it's name plaque has a blue light). The Riad itself is stunning inside, with great facilities. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Fes. The only negative I can think is one that is probably applicable to every Riad in the medina (I didn't explore the Merinid tombs side of the medina) which is the steep incline of the roads to and from souks, and historical sites such as the Qarawiyyin mosque. It's fine when you're on the way to said site, but the way back is a challenging incline to say the least. That said, the alley ways are clean and the floor is paved, so walking (and even a pushchair) shouldn't be an issue. That said, I think Riad Braya is in a great location as there is easy access to a taxi road it's very close to Bab Bou Jeloud. There are good places to eat nearby too (such as Barbecue Alarbi Fes). "
