This holiday home with a very large exotic garden and private swimming pool is located in a small, quiet village, fifteen minutes from Agadir airport. The property is bordered by cacti and brambles. You enter through a wooden gate decorated with Berber motifs. A romantic path lined with flowers, cypresses and olive trees leads to the villa. An orchard features all the region's fruit trees.
The house (260 square metres) is decorated in the southern Moroccan style and features many works of art. It sleeps eight people (nine if you include the sofa in the living room). There are two suites with 2 bathrooms, two bedrooms and a separate WC. The suites are on the first floor and have large double beds (180 cm wide). The other two bedrooms are on the second floor. The first bedroom has a double bed (160 cm wide). The last of the four bedrooms has two single beds (90 cm wide), which can be used as a sofa. The modern, traditionally decorated kitchen is fully equipped. The villa has two lounges, one of which has a dining area, TV and an open fireplace. There are four wall-mounted bookcases. The house was built ecologically. During the long hot season, adobe (mud bricks) ensures a pleasant room temperature, ten degrees below the outside temperature. In the cold season, it helps to maintain a certain degree of comfort inside. Air conditioning has been installed in both suites. Ventilation units (hot and cold) are also available. A covered gallery with armchairs and tables borders the entire villa, facing the swimming pool. Hot water is produced by solar panels. Grey water (used water) is returned to the water table via a special well.
In front of the villa, facing the Atlas Mountains, a 400 square metre tiled square features an 80 square metre swimming pool, with tables, chairs and deckchairs, surrounded by exotic plants: date palms and banana trees, as well as rose bushes, bougainvillea and oleanders... In the garden, several hundred citrus trees (orange, lemon and grapefruit) and Mediterranean plants create a wonderful backdrop for relaxation and leisure. You can play pétanque, table tennis and darts. The water tower in the garden provides the water supply.
On arrival, the key can be obtained from the riad manager. Among other things, he is responsible for looking after the pool and garden, as well as feeding the two small Jack Russell dogs, which help to keep our guests safe. At night, they must be left free in the garden. An electronic system can be installed to complete the security measures. Our manager will be happy to answer any practical questions you may have. As an option, you can book an excellent cooker to suit your requirements.
The nearest grocery shop is 400 metres from the villa. The nearest large souk is in Ouled Teima, six kilometres away. The nearest Atlantic beach is 40 minutes away. The nearest golf course is 35 minutes away. Allow plenty of time to visit Agadir! Must-sees: the Kasbah and its cable cars, the Croco Parc, the Lion Park and the museums. The thousand-year-old city of Taroudant is also 35 minutes away. Admirable walls! Berber fortified granary 40 minutes away. * This accommodation is not accessible to people with reduced mobility.
