"Well equipped house with great facilities incl. pool of a decent size Owners are very attentive (and quite adept at using Google translate to english!) Location is quite remote from most points of interest in Sicily, but if you are looking to chill, get a fabulous tan and enjoy the peace and quiet, then this would fit your bill."

The pool area is very large and the pool is large and beautiful, our only issue was the lack of workable umbrella stands as there is no shade around the pool until about 4pm. We didnt find too much to do local to the villa, there is a nice restaurant (La Taberna) in rucalmuto but we drove to San Leone, which had an array of resturants and beautiful beaches and just 20 mins drive...

Everything you need to make a coffee, or cook, is in the kitchen, storage for clothes is ample, the shower is great, the bed is quite comfortable, the working port it overlooks is highly interesting, entertaining, a bit noisy through the day (as you'd expect), but beautifully quiet at night for sleep. "We were met by our gracious host Lilla and shown around the property. Perfect setup for our group of 3 adults -each bedroom with its own balcony overlooking the port and the sea. Large modern bathrooms and great laundry. Bright rooms with beautiful traditional furnishings. All on one level with pleasant courtyard entrance. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

"Beautiful property but many millipedes everywhere, water off several times, dogs barking every night, nosy owner who came by daily and we had to pay for electricity used for time there. We have rented many times from HomeAway but never was charged for electricity. We did get deposit refunded the day we left minus charge for electricity. Besides the above we did enjoy our stay there."

"This is a beautiful, spacious house with many tasteful artistic details. Picture windows make the most of the spectacular views of the sea and countryside below you. We wondered if they would also make the house hot, but they didn't seem to, and the fly screens on all the smaller windows meant they could be opened to create a through draught. The terrace is also lovely, providing both sunny and shaded areas at all times of day, amidst lovely flowering plants and the olive trees below. The house...
