I have never stayed in a hotel where they thought of everything - nice lobby to check emails, friendly staff, affordable snacks accessible 24/7, laundry on site with detergent included, comfortable beds, lock boxes if you have a later flight so you can leave luggage at the hotel, plenty of food options just outside the hotel, walking distance to the subway, even a kids playground nearby. The breakfast is also top notch with delicious options and a menu to order from. But what sets Hotel Rival apart from others is the exceptional, friendly, knowledgeable staff. People at the front desk, directed us where to go and how to get there, and let us work on our Swedish with them. The people at breakfast were so kind and warm. One woman even showed us how her grandmother served Swedish pancakes. Even the police officer doing security last weekend for a concert was friendly. This encouraged us to stay an extra night because the people here have made the hotel feel like a home away from home. Thanks for making this stay so special."

"We booked an inexpensive room and it was definitely small. Having said that, breakfast was very good. The hotel is next door to the Arlanda Express train station, and very close to Stockholm Central, Stockholm City, and metro stations. It is roughly a 10 minute walk to the old city, with lots of dining options nearby. I would stay here again."
