"What an experience to understand the culture of Japan from the rooms to the amenities. We did not order the dinner which was a big mistake as the town at night was closed except for an Indian testairant"
"This hotel set the new standard for my wife to travel to Japan now. It is sit right below Inuyama castle and the hot spring is just perfect after all day out. It's garden (free with room key) is relaxing and tea ceremony (600Yen) was great. The hotel is well designed and the breakfast set (5000 pp) is well worth it.
The staff is helpful for dinner reservation, taxi, or guide to local place. The hotel is 8 - 10 min walk to the Inuyama street where you can visit multiple shrines and walk to castle (worth it!). We spent the whole day in that area shopping, eating and take pics.
The hotel is also great for pic as well; You can also travel from here to Gifu, Hide, and other area for day trip (note for the 15 min walk to train station or 1200 yen taxi) as it is closer than coming from Nagoya.
This is definitely place that we will plan a return visit in future."
"Amazing stay and great location for the Nakasendo Trail. We booked a room with futons, which were firm but more comfortable than I had expected. At check-in, we were offered a large choice of yukata to wear in the hotel, and they were incredibly comfortable! The hot baths were also amazing—the best we tried in Japan.
The buffet was good, but no ingredients were listed and the staff could not help, so it was quite tricky for people with allergies. Otherwise, it was a great stay."
"A hidden gem, such friendly staff. The rooms were huge with an amazing massage chair. Onsen indoors and outdoors and amazing food. We would travel back to the area to go to this hotel."
"Hotel is located right next to Inuyama Station making it easy to get in and out of the city. The property is relatively new. Helpful staffs, good centralized air conditioning, comfortable bed, on-site spa, and great breakfast are very much loved."
