"What a lovely surprise! The room was excellent value for money. Although it was on the smaller side, it was very clean, thoughtfully designed, and extremely comfortable, with everything we needed for our stay. The bathroom was spotless, and the shower was great. The location was also excellent—an easy walk to the train station, with plenty of local restaurants and pubs nearby, and just a short walk into the center of town. We were really pleased with our stay and would happily stay here again."

"We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is perfectly situated by the river, which was lovely for morning walks. We upgraded to a suite, which was spacious, well designed, and thoughtfully appointed. The bed was super comfortable, too. Our shower was a little slow to drain, but the staff responded to the issue quickly and with great professionalism, which we really appreciated. There’s a restaurant on site, a bar that stays open late, a gym, and a small indoor pool that can be booked for a private session. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and I would definitely stay here again."

"Lovely, spacious studios in a really lovely quiet area of York- not too far to walk into the city. We enjoyed a croissant and coffee next to the river in the morning sun- really pleasant stay. Rooms were comfortable with lovely kitchen facilities- it was so nice to be able to have somewhere to prepare food. The staff were so helpful and friendly and the foyer area stocked basic foods for breakfast and snacks - lovely stay"

"I usually stay in cheap hotels but this one was rather elegant, and even had a 13-meter pool. It’s right next door to the train station and fairly close to the Minster. Definitely recommend!"
