"La Terra Resort is a unique and beautiful crafted, peaceful boutique hotel that we had a delight to stay at during our outdoors exploration, and trek along parts of the Nakesando Trail. La Terra Resort didn’t disappoint, nestled amongst a beautiful quiet valley setting, tucked under the edge of the forest canopy and surrounded by farmed land, land that served to us our daily meals, with fresh homegrown produce. La Terra Resort’s owner Silva and his fantastic staff, each went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. Silva even personally introduced us to local pottery makers and took us to various attractions around the picturesque areas of Shirojiri. We especially enjoyed our short trek (2+ hours) down from the local waterfalls, following the river trail through amazing peaceful nature walks back to the resort. We would love to thank everyone in the team for making us feel so at home, feeding us amazing meals at both breakfast and dinner, from; La Terra’s visionary host and founder; Silva Sharonda (owner), to the fantastic welcoming party and exceptional service hosts of the staff Mogu, Duminda & Dian and chefs. "Easy to park. Wife would give it 4 stars. 6 yr old would give 5 stars for the rock climbing wall. No lift for 2nd floor rooms and would have life more space to open suitcases but overall nice place to stay."
