"Our recent stay at the cottage was a beautiful escape into the natural beauty of U.P. The spacious cabin provided a comfortable space, perfect for relaxing. We found everything we needed to prepare meals and be comfortable. The location is between Munising and Grand Marais, so it was very convenient. We did notice that the cleanliness of the property could have been improved. While the home was well-equipped for a comfortable stay, a more thorough cleaning would have made our stay better. Despite this minor setback, we appreciated the generous offerings provided, including kayaks, a canoe, and a rowboat, which allowed us to fully enjoy the peaceful Nevins Lake.One aspect that did affect our outdoor enjoyment was the presence of mosquitoes. While we loved spending time lakeside, it made it a bit challenging to fully relax or engage in activities without some discomfort. We recommend bringing insect repellent to mitigate this issue.Even with these small setbacks, our stay was really great. The host Nick was wonderful, very attentive, and gave recommendations for restaurants and things to do around the area. Overall, this lakeside retreat offered a wonderful opportunity to escape our busy life, and it's a great place to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. "
