Check in is by a system like a love hotel, so very easy but do look for an email with the door codes. Location is right across from the old town area and an easy 10 min. walk from the train station. Lots of choices for restaurants and there are several supers close by and a Lawsons on the corner. Eating in is an option if you are tired of eating out and is very easy. Good way to experience how the typical Japan apt. is. "

"Lovely room in a lovely boutique hotel. Clean, spacious, well appointed, and a great shower. 2-minute walk from the train station and a short walk to the historic quarter. Just be aware that they changed the checkout time to 10. (Some of their materials still say 11 and we had factored that into our plans.)"
