Kushiro Century Castle Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"This is a very uniquely Kushiro hotel, with a great spot overlooking the river. It’s got under 50 rooms for a more boutique feel than the larger businesses hotel chains nearby. Designed by a local architect and updated through the years, it has a lot of character and charm. The staff are extremely helpful and look after your needs well. I particularly enjoyed the free drink service and serving of venison curry in the evening, it was a tasty snack after a long day. The lobby has a selection of clothes and other items from local brands available for purchase. Definitely the place to stay if you are looking for an authentic local experience."

"Great location. You can see the hotel from the north exit of JR train station, Famous fish market Washo is across from the train station. Super affordable room rate which includes generous buffet breakfast with about 30 various dishes in Japanese and Western cousins. Breakfast is available 5:30 - 9:00 am Baggage Storage on First floor 24 hr"
