"I booked a Classic room and was presented with a dark, dirty room with tattered pillowcases, tired bedding, a distinctly broken bedside telephone, a lighting fixture hanging by its electrical cord above the bed, and a generally depressing ambiance. I complained and was upgraded to the Diamond Suite which was marginally better but came with a broken tv remote control and no bathroom towels. This is a truly WONDERFUL hotel.

"The L'eola is a gem in the heart of Lagos! Excellent proximity to the airport, the rooms are rest-inducing - gorgeous, quiet, and dark, and food and beverage service offers both Nigerian and Western fare. This is my third trip to Nigeria, and I had the best meal I've had in all of Nigeria there (Western)."
