"A little challenging to get to but once you’re there you understand why. Really beautiful location. Tough to get food at night because most of the restaurants cater only to the daytime tourists which was tough and the ferry only runs so late so you can’t get dinner late and head back. Would suggest two nights at most and hotel should be a bit more proactive about suggesting offsite food options. Staff was nice when we got there and accommodating. Loved the daytime adventures. "This hotel is convenient to go to Shoin Shrine on foot, although it is a steep climb from Shoin Shrine to the hotel. They have a shuttle from and to the station. They also provide baggage pick-up from the train station. The staff are very kind and friendly. Food is great."
