"This is a nice laid-back place and at a good price on Naoshima Island. It is near Project Art House and the Ando Museum. There are a couple of cute restaurants nearby. The staff is so friendly and accommodating and personally picked us up from the port and helped us find everything we were looking for. Would stay again for sure. "

"One night staying at this hostel, it is so nice to have a private space in a wooden box with a lockable door. The room is quiet that I can have a quality sleep. The bed is comfortable. It is so close to the tram station and the bicycle rental. What can you ask for more?"

"The rooms were clean and as expected. The bathrooms and toilets were fine as well. The staff was pleasant. It was advertised that there was a restaurant and even on a chalkboard outside, there were daily specials written but we were told there was no food for purchase. This was a challenge given the remote location of the hostel and that restaurants closed very early. We did find a grocery store that closed at 7pm. "I stayed in Traditional Apartment - Hostel for 2 days in April 2017. The staff were very friendly, polite, and helpful. In addition to introducing the hostel's facilities, they also gave me detailed advice on the popular tourist attractions of Takamatsu city and the schedule of shuttle buses to Takamatsu airport. I booked a bed space in one of the hostel's dormitories and it was both tidy and comfortable. There were a kitchen and a washing machine for my dorm. The only drawback was that...

"I've been here for two nights and it's been fine. Typical capsule style 'room' which is a bit small since I'm 6'2, but the bed is comfy. I wouldn't recommend this place for more than a few days though but if just passing through it's totally fine. Not really a place to make food or hangout, it's basically a spot to sleep. Location wise it's great, right near the main area with all the shops etc and maybe 10 or so min walk to Kochi Castle"
