The owners are very friendly and helpful, giving you a quick brief on all there is to see and do in jiufen before taking you to your place. "Okay walking distance from the train station, but check-in was terrible. I didn’t receive any details until standing outside on a rainy day trying to figure out how to call a local phone number, which was eventually answered by someone who only speaks Chinese. After an awkward minute on the phone they hung up, but a few minutes later I finally got instructions on how to get inside. "The scenery from the property in general and its roof top is second to none. The view of the temple and the beach is amazing. The hotel is at a great location, after visiting the shops in the alley, it ends with the hotel location. Lots of steps as expected in Jiufen but is worth it. We are luxky to book the ocean view room, it faces the rooftop sitting area, temple and the ocean. The dining room view and ambience is fantastic. Wouldnt want a different view. "Great hospitality and environment for my short stay. Ordered the breakfast as it was not easy to get meals early in the morning. The pictures I took, was an envy for friends who didn’t know about such nice places at Jiu Fen Taiwan. It’s located at the base of the walking street, so need to climb some stairs to shopping or to the nearest bus station that was quite near. Overall, it was a pleasant experience."

"This was such a great place to stay. We had the family room for 3 adults. The view was AMAZING as was the hospitality!! It was in a fantastic location just a couple of minutes to the 7eleven and old street but so peaceful. The space was great with a huge lounge area, dining table and crockery and cutlery for self catering (we got takeout from old street vendors and had dinner in the room. The beds were all king size and really comfortable with quality linen. The whole.place was very clean!!...
