"After a few issues with the heating (which were resolved by host quickly), we really enjoyed our stay in this traditional cottage. Warm, comfortable, spacious, good views to Skye, host very responsive and helpful."

The setting is lovely and quiet, and we enjoyed walking and exploring the village, the stunning views, and finding sea glass by the shore. "A great place to stay, just far enough away from Sky to be away from the busy tourist stuff but close enough to spend the day on the island. If you like hiking there are amazing trails right next to the cabin along a river that has some waterfalls. There are a couple of villages that are close by with great food options, if you don't feel like cooking in the well equipped kitchen. The hostess are very easy to work with and responded quickly to any questions I had. Would defiantly recommend...

"This was our best stay on our whole trip to Scotland. While, it was a little off the beaten path, it provided a quiet, cosy oasis after we had been staying in towns in lodges without parking for our car. Achmore had ample parking on site. Ida met us at our car and showed us to our room while loading more fire wood in the pot belly stove in room. It was a lovely site as we walked in! So warm and cosy. The apartment was spacious with a full kitchen. We cooked dinner and Ida had even left us a wee...

"One of the best welcomes you'll get anywhere!!! Richard, Rebecca and the team, go the extra mile in hospitality and food . First name terms within minutes of meeting with everything all prepared ready! Rooms are basic but are clean, warm & with comfy beds. Entirely suitable for a few nights stay, as the friendliness outweighs any of that. Food is great, served with a smile, humour, or a story! A great place! "
