"We had a great time. It was a close drive to Galena and still secluded to feel like we had a private getaway. We had deer come to drink by the creek, and a nice area for a bond fire. The home was beautiful and the owners were really nice. We would definitely book again."

"Beautiful view of Galena; historic home gave us a good feel for living well in the 1850s (except for modern conveniences); easy drive to downtown.We would not recommend this home if you need a walker, wheelchair, or other walking aids; parking in the back alley was a bit of a challenge for our mid-size SUV.Overall, we had a pleasant stay."

"Staff was Super Friendly (especially Teresa )she welcomed our furry Rusty with lots of rubs. Guests were also super friendly with myself husband and more so our little boy. Hotel was quiet and very relaxing. Pool Area was also clean and well maintained .We will for sure go there again in the near future. Sincerely Mr & Mrs E Klich "
