"What a beautiful property. Clean, private, and a perfect get-away for my family. My parents loved the house so much we almost had to drag them out! We loved everything about it, but my favorite part was definitely the hottub and the fire pit outside. Would definitely love to come back in the future!"

"Beautiful view of Galena; historic home gave us a good feel for living well in the 1850s (except for modern conveniences); easy drive to downtown.We would not recommend this home if you need a walker, wheelchair, or other walking aids; parking in the back alley was a bit of a challenge for our mid-size SUV.Overall, we had a pleasant stay."

"Fun weekend"

"Don't judge a book by its cover. The outside may appear small, but the inside is nicely remodeled and surprisingly large! We weren't sure what we were getting because there weren't many pictures on the listing but we were pleasantly surprised when we walked in the door. The location was great, within walking distance of downtown (restaurants/bars/coffee). Our access info wasn't sent, but when I messaged the host she replied timely and was always very responsive!"

"We had a wonderful stay. The house was perfect for our stay!!! I was very happy with the property it was everything I expected and more!!!"

"This property was perfect for our quick getaway to Dubuque with friends. We were able to easily get around to a lot of local spots on foot, great location. The house has a lot of cool quirks and flare. Back patio with hot tub was a fun bonus and the front porch was great for a morning cup of coffee!"
