"The location was great, easily access to everything. We quickly found a short cut through the mall to princess street. The apartment was also nice and quiet. It was mostly clean but there was some grit or dirt on the floor as I could hear it rubbing on my case. We expected a sofa as the pictures on the website had a picture of the executive suite with a sofa but apparently that’s only for those with a balcony! The kitchen was convenient and it was nice that milk etc was provided. I was a little disappointed with the hosts communication. I asked twice in emails about whether anything could be done to make my husband’s birthday special. Both times the other questions in the email were answered but the part about the birthday was ignored. I find this rude. I understand if this is not something offered but this could have been explained rather than just ignored. I would stay again depending on the rooms available."

"Room was great. Breakfast was one of the best we've had at a hotel. Location was spot on for the train but also for the royal mile. The only downside was check in. The staff were not very friendly and it was awkward to find our room. We were told to go down this way to find floor 4. There was a lift but it only went to rooms up to 432. Luckily a bar staff member told us we had to walk another 30 seconds around into the new building works area to find a second lift. There was no signs or anything to say this so i feel the reception staff should be telling people this. Overall a really good stay and would stay again. "
