They were helpful and our specific unit was at the back of the building, so quieter as it was farther away from the main street. "

It was a little warmer and the air conditioning unit was in the main living area so didn’t cool off the back bedrooms as much. Otherwise everything else was great and Al was a wonderful host and we enjoyed our stay!!"

"For the price point, this was a very good place to stay. We had room to spread out and watch TV. The location had a lot of food options, but was about a mile from downtown. However, the on-property parking is in an alleyway and was confusing. The kitchen stuff was unclean and had food on it when we got there and we had to clean it. The property has on-site washing machine and a little balcony, which were nice add-ons."

Around 20 minute walk to Old Town and steps from the Place Des Arts Metro to connect anywhere in the city. There is a ton happening right outside the apartment, you can stay busy without leaving more than a few blocks. The space was perfect for two people. "This property has a lot of potential. It’s a great location in a clean and quiet building. There’s a patio space and a good layout for two people. The hosts just need to put a little more work into hosting. The entry, locking, and Wi-Fi instructions were not correct. "We chose to stay in a non-hotel area and the Loft Jacques-Cartier apartment was perfect. Very much a neighborhood! Nice place. Super clean. Modern touches inside a historic building. Super comfortable. Parc La Fontaine is 1 block away. Rue Mont Royal just few streets away. Supermarket and convenience store around the corner. Lots of construction and a bit of graffiti were the only things that downgraded the area but the pros outweighed the cons. Will stay here again! "

"We had a wonderful stay at this lovely apartment. The host was very responsive to our questions. The apartment is very spacious with two large bedrooms and a beautiful patio to enjoy meals outside overlooking the back garden. Everything in the apartment was very clean and the bedding and towels were new and good quality. The apartment is on a lovely tree-lined street that is quiet, and yet it's just a few blocks from the Jean-Talon market, metro station and lots of great cafes and restaurants....

It is exactly as it is listed, the location could not be more central on the Plateau which is perfect to go to the city by metro. Walking distance to everything. The comments are true, there are a lot of stairs but I was fine with it, just careful if you have heavy bags. The King size beds were very comfortable, pillows very comfortable too.
