"The house is beautiful our 4 year old loved all the stairs. The view of the lake is stunning. The only thing to note is be sure you’re aware that depending on the water and time of year the lake was not directly behind the house it was mostly shallow water with trash , chairs, debris etc. in the water and that’s the only way to access the lake from the backyard so that made it difficult especially with small children. The only other thing to take note of was the downstairs game room located on the exterior of the house accessible through a main outside door was so extremely hot even with the large fan and ac going it was unable to be used due to heat. The games provided were unusable due to missing pieces and the Wii also did not work. Other than that the house was great and there is even a convenient little store a 2min walk away!"

Sister and I have been coming to this house for 4 years now and will continue to do so annually for our “sister trip”. Never any issues, easy check in, easy check out and property is perfect. Beautiful Lake Front home for memories to last a lifetime!

"Our trip to the Livingston Lake House was exactly what we wanted. The house was large enough for all 8 of us to have family space and individual space. The lake was amazing and my Grandsons and Daughter enjoyed the rope swings. I enjoyed soaking in the memories we made and cooling off in the lake. My Son and Grandsons caught 52 fish. We caught and released as the catfish were small, but the acual catching for my boys taught them lessons that will stay with them for life. We enjoyed site seeing, the woods,and the surrounding local shops. I especially enjoyed the people of Livingston, down to earth, kind hearted welcoming people everywhere we went. Thank you Stephen for opening your home to us. It was wonderful."

"This was our 2nd time staying at Blue Cottage :) We thoroughly enjoy this little lake house and feel very blessed to have the opportunity to stay here. It is a great place any time of the year! We love that there are kayaks and a peddle boat to go out on the lake—we bring our own fishing poles but the life jackets are also provided. The smart TVs in every room allow for your own preferred entertainment. Along with card and board games! It is also located only 10 minutes from Lake Livingston so you can go explore the offerings there as well. Down to the little things that really matter—I can’t tell you how many times one of us forget our toothbrush: the owners are generous enough to have disposable toothbrushes and toothpaste in the bathrooms! Along with other miscellaneous items like womens needs, other hygiene items, shampoo and conditioner, dish wash soap in the kitchen, ziplock bags for leftovers, laundry soap for clothes washing—these are the things that really, really mean a lot and make it feel like home during your stay. We always look forward to spending time here! Thank you for sharing such a great place with us :)"
Charming Home with Lake Views & Private Pool

"The lakehouse was perfect for 5 adults attending a family function in Livingston. It was easy to find and easy to navigate in and out of. A great restaurant was almost within walking distance which helped us weary travelers. It is showing some wear and tear, mainly the paint, living room furniture and cabinet fronts but it was clean and inviting so it worked out well for us. The pool and backyard were wonderfully relaxing."
