"Loved everything about the place!!! Drive up the mountain was a little scary for the kids and I’m glad we had a 4x4 diesel for the steep roads (gravel and smooth, but more than we were used to). "The cabin was just as described. As soon as you drive up to the Daniels Cabin we wanted to run inside. The place was stunning, welcoming and inviting a perfect welcoming to our large family. Our three large dogs enjoyed the expansive back yard. Thy enjoyed the trail that is right behind the cabin. A nice short walk was enjoyed daily. "Perfect house for a football weekend - comfortable, clean and convenient. The kitchen was well stocked for having meals and preparing for tailgating. VRBO in their listing should have each house inform whether bathroom shower soap and shampoo is provided as it varies from house to house. From experience we have learned to come prepared. We will plan to stay here again!"

"We really enjoyed our stay here. The views are unparalleled, and the house was exactly as described. We would stay here again. However, I would recommend that the owners upgrade their linens - the sheets on the King beds were too small, and there were no extra blankets for chilly nights. Our minivan made it up the hill, but we didn't realize that the unpaved road was about 2 miles long, so be warned. Definitely worth it for the views and solitude though!"

There was plenty of bedroom spaces for each family to have privacy and everyone slept well; the beds were comfortable. The common areas are large and easily accommodated all of us. "We needed a place close to the hiking trail we were going to do that could sleep our whole group, and this was close. Unfortunately the trails were closed due to wild fires a couple nights before our stay. Because of the late notice, we couldn't cancel our stay. We had to drive an hour and a half the next morning to get to another trail where we camped, but this cabin was large enough to accommodate our church group, we just couldn't enjoy our stay as long as we had hoped.
