"I would recommend this hotel. Tru Hotels are known for being up to date and fresh. The room was clean and new. The arcade room was great with a pool table and air hockey. Make sure you have quarters or dollar bills in order to play all the games. They range around $1 to $2 per game. Located close to restaurants. They only issue we had was we were placed right beside the elevator and the ice machine. In all my years of traveling I have never been placed by an elevator. This was a very noicy experience. The hotel wasn't busy so this should not have happened. We should have asked for a different room but we were already settled in for the night before we realized that we could hear the elevator go up and down all night. Other than this issue the hotel itself was very nice."

"Clean room. Very close to Appalachian trail, close to park information center, shuttle service to lower town. NO elevator, so stairs were hard for us carrying luggage. Desk clerk helped which was wonderful. Being so close to everything & being able to have a 1st floor room. Would definitely stay their again. We r in r 80's. Stairs r hard , but managed parr of the trail"

"The breakfast was very good! Good selection of hot items. The pancake machine was a nice change from waffles, and my boys liked the hot cinnamon rolls. The staff are very friendly. Beds and bedding were nice too."
