"Overall the hotel was great for a one night stay. It was clean, had air con and a free breakfast. Slightly limited for vegetarians but you can have pastries, beans and egg on toast. I found staff to be friendly and helpful. The car park was a little bit tight so be mindful in bigger cars. One thing that made me mark this down was the sofa bed, the springs were really uncomfortable and I struggled to get settled at night. My friends in the bed were happy enough. I would stay again, but in a proper bed next time."

"The staff were very good. The property was good though the layout of our room was odd and the mirror screwed to the wall was on the tilt. The tv had a little quirk - it switched itself on in the night! The location couldn’t have been better. Thank you."

"Very comfortable and well-appointed cottage, super-clean and with everything needed for a short stay. Felt like a home-from-home for us, and lovely to watch the cows in the next-door field! We would highly recommend to anyone, and two good pubs within walking distance as well, plus just a short drive into Sheffield or out onto the Peaks for fab walking."
