"We love this hip, well decorated and well curated hotel. Wonderful rooms, amazing block print fabrics, and the plunge pool of the roof is super! Also, huge bonus! Very quiet neighborhood. Feels like a real Indian neighborhood and it is convenient to everything.
By the way, great staff and great food. "
"Congenial staff who made is feel we were the only guests there. They were attentive to every need, friendly, professional yet down to earth. A beautifl small botique hotel. I would reccomend this place to a friend."
"Friendly and helpful staff; nice, comfortable rooms; a short drive to the old city. Particularly notable for its terrific and atmospheric rooftop restaurant."
"Comfortable clean good value room. Traffic means 20 minute tuk-tuk to old city sites. Excellent friendly roof top restaurant with high quality varied food and drink offerings. Recommended. "

Umaid Bhawan - A Heritage Style Boutique Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Really beautiful interior and staff were very friendly. Overall the whole hotel felt like an authentic experience"
"As advertised. A nice, clean property with a great pool - large, clean, well maintained - that we used regularly for relief from the heat. Hotel staff was courteous and professional. Shout out to Piyusha (sp?) who did a great job supporting us.
Only minor complaints:
-Children not allowed in the lobby bar/restaurant (admittedly, by law) - though children may enter the other two restaurants and the outdoor lounge. Not ideal insofar as the heat rendered regular use of the outdoor lounge undesirable.
You will want to avoid an externally facing room - they have a limited view of an unattractive part of the city.
Overall, a good stay.

"After traveling through India and visiting many cities, I was thoroughly impressed with the dining and quality of the rooms. In every way I felt I was staying at a 5 star hotel. It was truly grand! I would recommend staying here for your stay in Jaipur."

"This is one of the most spectacular hotels in which we've ever stayed (and we travel a lot). From the seamless and informative check-in to the most helpful staff, this is a place not to miss. Our Price of Whales suite was simply magnificent... beautifully decorated, spacious, and functional. The cleaning staff was never seen, even though the room was cleaned 2x/day.
The outdoor seating for dinner was very beautiful with fire places placed strategically next to occupied tables. The service was spot-on, and we never wanted for anything. The breakfast room is gorgeous, as is the 51 Shades of Pink restaurant. The pool is nice too.
The driver/guide we booked through the staff was excellent (Vijay) - must tour the private rooms at City Palace that only visitors staying at Rajmahal Palace can see. Beautiful. The Observatory is a must as well. And, Amer Fort. Oh, and don't forget to stop at a jewelry store for some precious gemstones!
This property is truly special. "
