"We really enjoyed our stay at Sheep Mountain Lodge. The room was very spacious and clean. The bed was awesome. We did eat dinner at the restaurant and was very good. The views are awesome. The little porch was a great place for morning coffee and to absorb the surroundings. I would definitely stay here again."

"We absolutely loved our stay at Roxanne’s beautiful cabin by the lake. We only had the one night here to break up our journey from Fairbanks to McCarthy and the only thing that was disappointing is that we couldn’t stay longer! The cabin is super cosy, comfortable & spacious with the most beautiful views of the lake & mountains. We felt very rested & relaxed at this peaceful location, which was absolutely worth the 45 minute drive from Glennallen… there was no where else in the area that was anywhere near as nice as this gem of a find! Little tip, our GPS didn’t quite take us to the address, it took us to the Nelchina Lodge turn in. So just keep going past here and then take the next left from here a couple of minutes up with the signpost McGinley. Thank you again for hosting us, we loved our stay and meeting you. 😊"

"This is great little property in a beautiful alpine area with lots of nearby hiking & sightseeing. The cabin is well stocked with a sweet porch and fire pit. The hosts were great and quick to respond to our requests. We asked for a BBQ Grill and it was waiting on our arrival along with 2 fresh salmon filets. That’s over the top! They were delicious! Just a minor note, a TV is pictured in the property description but no tv service provided and no WiFi (which was noted in the description). Had we known we would have brought cables to view our movies & photos. With that said we loved our stay. Thank you."
