Spent one night in "Fleurs de Provence" room. This place, operated by a very nice French couple, has all the potentials of a 5 star B&B. It is right on Route 153, so if a car drives by, you'll hear it. Fortunately, there were very few cars at night. At this time, due to all the COVID restrictions, the living room and dining room were off limits, which means we were stuck in the room after checking in. Breakfast was served on a tray, all wrapped in cellophane, and we were asked to eat in the room. They were trying to be good hosts. Maybe it will be better when all this COVID craziness is over.

Beautiful room, and incredibly friendly staff. A husband and wife team that did all that could be imagined to make our stay special. The breakfast was wonderful. 3-4 courses, crepes, parfait of yogurt and great conversation as well. Thanks for a wonderful and memorable stay.

A beautiful and unusual house with an interesting history. The owners clearly love their home and generously share it with their guests. There is a lovely guest terrace and our 'room' was a combined bed/sitting room (mezzanine). The ensuite bathroom was wonderful, marble with a bath spa. 'Made me feel like a Roman empress - but for just one night, we didn't have the time to full make use of this. Breakfast was prepared and served thoughtfully and with enthusiam and included pancakes and french toast with fresh fruit and cream/yoghurt.

Very nice BB for someone wanting to experience an authentic local experience. The building is historicaly important, next to a park (landmark) and the rooms are uniquely decorated and sound proofed. The hosts make you feel at home and are an important source of local information. We were suggested a restaurant for dinner which was one of the highlights of our stay (bring your own wine) and very quaint and affordable. A very romantic stay and of course there is an incredible breakfast included to get your day off to a good start. We will go back for sure!

Wonderful time. Martine and Giles were very accommodating - what you would hope for in hosts. Nice room. The breakfast was fabulous and better than I could’ve hoped for. Recommend without any hesitation.

We stayed at Gilles and Martine's for two nights to see the Mauricie National Park. The location was perfect, as it is an easy 15-minute drive to the park. The hosts are wonderful and made us feel right at home, and the breakfast was truly amazingly delicious! Their home and our room was extremely clean and very comfortable. Highly recommend it!
