"Lapwing is a beautiful, dog friendly lodge set along side of the canal, the first of 3 other lodges. Thereâ€™s ample parking. The enclosed decking area was perfect for our dog, who loved watching the boats pass and watching his human brother enjoy the private hot tub. The lodge has everything you need from towels, gowns, slippers, toiletries to dog essentials (bowls,blankets) to all your self catering needs."

"Fantastic 4 nights in this lodge, our hosts were very welcoming and a bottle of Prosecco in the wine fridge for our arrival was a really lovely touch. Lodge is beautiful and comfortable, had everything that we needed and of course the hot tub was an added bonus. Will definitely be back."
