"We came in late but had a very warm and nice welcom and good and helpful contact with the owner. The house was complete with everything you need, and for the first evening and morning there also was some food present. We had a stay of only 3 nights, but would have liked to stay longer. "The property is well situated for an easy walk in Stornoway with 2 supermarkets easily walked to. On street parking outside of the property was always available. A good location for exploring Lewis and Harris. It’s very clean and well equipped. Roddy was easily contacted. Would recommend. "

"Rod and Gloria were wonderful host. Our ferry arrived after dinner hours, so they prepared a platter of sandwiches so we'd have something for dinner. Rod greeted us upon arrival and provided an overview of the area and recommended various sites to see. We stayed at several B&Bs during our Scotland trip and this one was our favorite. "

"Stayed here 2 years ago and it hasn't really changed. I thought it was brilliant then and no reason to change my mind. Very, friendly and welcoming staff, everywhere was immaculate, my single ensuite room was amazing. Plenty of free car parking as well. Buffet breakfast choice was second to none and cooked food plentiful, hot and fresh. For other meals the menu choice was good and also included a Carvery, every night from 1700. Really good food. I will be staying again when I visit Stornoway next year!"
