"Black Diamond Retreat was a wonderful place for a family gathering. Both indoor and outdoor areas were spacious and gave everyone room to spread out and wander. We enjoyed sitting around the fire pit every evening and playing corn hole and bocci outside as well. "Stoudtburg Village is just about the cutest place that we have stayed. It is a quiet village with a bonus of shops around the village, and across the road that we walked to. The house itself was perfect for our needs and had everything that we needed in the kitchen. We have stayed at other houses within VRBO and others and have had to go out to buy some of the items that we needed, we didn't have to do that here. My only drawback was that the upstairs bathroom needed some updates, but was still...

"There are no surprises, the description of the house is spot on. It's tiny, but we knew that. It's cute. The ladder to the loft bed is a little concerning, but that added to the adventure of the weekend."

The weather put a damper on our visit but we were still able to enjoy the peace and the views around the home. The kids had their pony rides and we were able to meet all the horses they have saved.
