"This piece of heaven was just what we needed---to be in the country surrounded by nature and staying in the most adorable place ever! The Hobbit House was so quiet and cozy and allowed my husband and I to completely get away from it all! The home is so unique and well conceived. We loved the comfortable king bed, the great kitchen plus the jacuzzi in the bathroom and all the hidden surprises everywhere! We were given a golf cart to use during our stay to fully explore the acreage. It was such fun going along the trails, of which there were many! We enjoyed meeting all of the beautiful horses and the donkey! We floated on rafts in the serene lake which was wonderful! Coming back to take an outdoor shower was also a unique delight! Randy, the owner, was extremely friendly and kind and very responsive when we had questions. The four days on the property truly fed our soul and was just what we needed. We hope to be back again in this hidden jewel! The Hobbit House will be forever imbedded in our memories as being a true experience in every way. Thank you to Randy and your family for so generously sharing your property with us!"

"Very clean and tidy apartment. There were plenty of towels in the bathroom. Nice security being behind an electric gate, although it is a nice neighborhood. All of the appliances looked new, very clean. A person could easily walk to historic downtown to check out what it has to offer. The Hosts live on the premises, so it is easy to communicate with them. If a person is looking for a single room apartment to use for a bit, I don't think you could find a cleaner and nicer one than this. I will certainly be back!"

"Quaint and quiet charming place to stay while attending the Masters. Thomas was an excellent host and even mailed a couple forgotten items we left behind at no charge. On a side note I loved my bed so comfortable. Thanks Thomas for making our stay so enjoyable :) "
Romantic Cottage in Washington Historic District

"Google street view helped us the most to find the house. It's back off of the main road so it wasn't obvious that we were in the right place, and we had to look around to find the correct opening in the fence to access the back of the property. The house is a cute, older, Southern cottage. The heat worked well and it was clean. I never had to contact the host, but I had their contact info and I knew they we nearby if I needed them. It was nice that it was back away from the main house. "
