"We stayed one night at the perfectly located Upper Rideau B&B and enjoyed every minute. Donna and Keith are wonderful hosts. The room was a little small but very comfortable. It had a shared bathroom but as there were not other quests, that was not an issue. Next time we will book a room with an ensuite. The breakfast was delicious and abundant. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend it to all our friends."

"Excellent travel directions, lovely spacious screened in porch overlooking a tranquil lake. Older cottage, bathroom renovated very nice, the kitchen had everything you could possibly need and more. Owner was very helpful when we encountered a minor problem. Overall a wonderful stay, thank you!"

"Loved this place. Homely style with modern touches. The room was lovely, bed was super comfy and bathroom was new/renovated. The staff were all superb, so nice and friendly they made our stay very special. We had dinner there 2 nights of the 3, both had live music which was fabulous and we particularly enjoyed Jeff Callery and his band. The patio was lovely, and the weather co-operated so was great to eat outside with the spectacular water views and the great music. Food was delicious and again, can't say enough about how wonderful the servers were. The Cove Inn is in the perfect location, right downtown near the water, stores, restaurants and bars. Really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel. "

"The International MPS Network booked this property to house 2 families affected by MPS (Mucopolysaccharidosis) to film a documentary about the importance of time in diagnosis and treatment. The families and film crew were delighted with the location which provided a beautiful background for the documentary as well as a clean and comfortable space.Communication with the owners was seamless.One guest wrote:"The owner met me and helped me carry my bags up! "The communication with Andriy was excellent. We recieved a nice detailed note with everything we might need to know about our stay. VRBO had served us this stay when we did a filtered search for places with a hot tub and we saw one in the pictures. When we found the tub empty, we reached out to ask how to set it up, only to be informed that it didn't work. Andriy explained that they had never listed it as an amenity, and generously offered us a partial refund. I was grateful for the sincerity and transparency of the interaction. The place was very clean when we arrived. The sofa is not terribly comfortable, especially as a bed, but it was good enough. The proper bed was super comfy and what a treat it was to wake up to the gorgeous view over the lake. The grey decor felt quite out of place for a lakefront cabin, but the plaid blanket and cushions helped. My one big suggestion for the interior would be lamps: the ceiling full of undimable cool white pot lights was way too bright for my friend and me, and while we did figure out a solution for a comfortable light level, it wasn't great. The kitchen was also well-appointed, other than lacking a ladle, and having a dishwasher was so so appreciated! Finally, the location and setting are truly wonderful. Easy to access, super quiet, gorgeous lake views, animals and their tracks. I would absolutely recommend staying here and as long as you're not expecting cottage vibes, you'll be happy."
