"We were catching up with friends and family in Yeovil. We hadn't been to Yeovil for about 10 years and didn't recognise the town. Lots of renovation going on which will make it more modern. Even the weather was good .We wont leave it that long next time ."

"It was such a beautiful place. Exceptionally clean and inviting. Location was on the main street, High Street. Everything you need is close by within walking distance. Friendly owner and her husband also is a taxi driver which is very convenient."

"This was a real find. A late decision to stay in the area led us to this real gem. The room was perfect - well decorated and all facilities provided but it is the restaurant that needs to be particularly commended. The food was amazing."

"The pub/hotel is on the Main Street across from the petrol station so we expected it to be noisy but thankfully it wasn’t in the room. You check in at the bar which can be problematic if you bring your luggage in with you as it can be packed with bar patrons. The rooms are in a separate building which is quite new, parking is first come first serve for both hotel and general public so we had to park down the street until we could find one closer. Dinner at the pub was good, but recommended that...

"It was nice. Especially the breakfast and access to coffee machine. Only issue was that we would have preferred a double bed as was not too comfortable on the twin. "

"Very quick to assist when requiring assistance when we needed the heating on and another cup. Found the traffic noisy as the double glazing did not keep the noise out very well"

"Not a traditional B&B, but a spare room with private bathroom in the host's house. David was very friendly and welcoming. His house is spotlessly clean and our room was well equipped with lots of space Our bed was comfortable and the bathroom was large and clean. Breakfast was a nice touch, with David accommodating our needs/wants without skipping a beat. Definitely consider staying here, but book in advance as the room goes quickly."

"We stayed for one night en route to a week’s holiday in Cornwall. We found the staff to be friendly and helpful, making sure our stay was a good one. We had reserved a table for our evening meal (along with our dog) and thoroughly enjoyed the food."

"Nice quiet place. Quite ordinary but very good value. Clean property and rooms with a lovely conservatory and beautiful grounds. 1000'walk to beach access. Away from loud concessions and restaurants, it does have a bar on site with limited hours. Breakfast cooked to order perfectly each morning and friendly staff. Family run. "

"After a long journey we were met by Liam, who promptly prepared us tea and cake to have in the courtyard, which was so welcome. He booked a table at the local pub for us and really looked after us for the duration of our stay. The historic building is quirky, beautifully appointed and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. We stayed in the Sheppey room, which is large and very comfortable, Roll top bath and walk in shower are great. Spotlessly clean. Excellent breakfast. A real little gem...
