"The property was lovely with well furnished. Sadly the hot water in the shower wasn’t working despite reporting it after the first day. Cold showers aren’t very nice. When paying top price for accommodation the hot water should a given, essential part of the service. Plus the cleaners were knocking on the door before the allotted 10am check out!!"

"Brilliant little property right in the heart of the Lakes, just off the A593 at Skelwith Bridge so very well located as a base to explore. On a quiet little estate of lodges and apartments, there's even a swimming pool (although we didn't use it, good to know it's there!) Very clean property and comfortable beds. "Loved our stay. Our first family trip away with our 10 week old baby and even she loved it. We had everything we needed at our finger tips. The only slight downfall was the Wi-Fi connection. It was quite hard to connect to and very slow. Being in an area with poor reception for data, the Wi-Fi was definitely needed but we both struggled to get any use out of it. Amazing place though, would recommend. "

"Well maintained and euipped, great location, superb views. Private terrace over looking pasture land was a great bonus. A few niggles , no bedside reading lamp in one bedroom, no where to put soaps etc in the shower, one mattress too soft , needs replacing? Will definitely book it again!"

"Absolutely beautiful property. The pictures and the outside don’t do the property justice. The interior is tastefully decorated and very spacious. The grounds are well kept. The views of the lake are amazing and you get duel aspect from the massive living room. The best part is the lakes and boats are steps away from the apartment. Cannot thank you enough, we were all bowled over by this fantastic apartment. X"

"Lovely accommodation right in the heart of Kendal. Everything well thought out, and clean and cosy. May not want to visit with young children as some of the pictures on the wall were more adult orientated with no option to remove them for duration of stay."

"Nice apartment for my wife and I to spend a couple of nights with our 1 year old daughter. There was plenty of room in the bedroom for the travel cot we brought with us, and they provided a high chair on arrival. The apartment was also dog friendly so our little pooch was able enjoy the trip with us (at a cost of £25 per night). "What more could you ask for than a property where the supermarket (and many eateries) are around the corner and the bus stop is opposite the front door. Rayrigg is perfectly located, with a bus every 20 mins to take you to the railway station (about a 10 minute walk) or to other towns in the District. Just note, if you are challenged by directions, Lake Windermere is in an area called Bowness, and about a 45 minute walk to Ellerthwaite Square. I had the top room, so plenty of stairs to climb,...
