"The house was great. Well loved all it had to offer. There were a few minor issues that I communicated with Tate. The issues were resolved while we were there. Tate was great tk work with. We spent alot of time indoors due to Hurricane Debby, it was nice that we had space for everyone to be comfortable. Looking forward to staying again, with better weather. "

"Had a wonderful time at Thrush Cottage. Love that it is hidden back away from the other homes. Screened in back porch is nice. Love taking kids to pier to fish. Close to beaches and other activities at Myrtle Beach."

"I write a review every year (2024 is #35) but they are redundant. Each year we have a great time. The house is older but has a perfect beachy feel. It’s clean, comfortable, well equipped, close to the water, big front porch (partially covered so you have sun or shade) and the owner is easy to work with. I encourage you to consider this house, just don’t take my weeks! "

"The property was dirty. There was food particles in the sink coffee left in the coffee pot. The linen was dirty, and there were used food containers under the bed. The property itself was cute and spacious and walking distance to grocery store, restaurants "

"This was our second time staying. Perfect location for us. The beach and general store are across the street, as well as an ice cream shop. The house was clean and everything was just as described. Ms. Pat is an awesome host. My family and I are looking forward to possibly staying for our third time next year. "

"We loved the close access to the beach, which was about a 5 minute walk. The house is beautiful and well kept. Plenty of room for six adults to spread out as well as plenty of space for kids to play. Our family loved the waterway access for fishing. The dogs really enjoyed being able to run around in the fenced yard. Will be returning in the future. "

"We loved the property and even from second row the view was nice. The only real issue we had is the outdoor spicket to rinse off feet didn’t work and maybe just a few more towels but you do have a washer and dryer so…. We really enjoyed the space, TVs in every room, books, and monopoly game was a nice touch. Balcony on both sides of the house. The wood on those may need to be replaced in a couple of years. "Clean and comfortable and nicely decorated. Suited me and my husband perfectly. Beautiful views. Great location. Quiet and peaceful. The stairs were a challenge for us, but we knew any house on the island would be. Hope to return. "
