"The property itself is very small but for two people it's perfect. Open plan with a little somewhat steep staircase up to the bedroom area. We like to be off the beaten track and this just right for us, the private courtyard (that includes the shower/washing machine) was a good size with multiple seating options available. Use of the families pool with views for miles including mount Etna was wonderful. Enzo was always available if needed, the Wifi wasn't working initially but he got it...

"I tried booking here twice - once when I flew in and again when I flew out of Catania. Big mistake. Both times the booking was automatically accepted only to be later cancelled. The first time it was cancelled with a couple of days notice (due to a double booking) so we were able to find another accommodation no problem. "The property was lovely and felt very secure with the gated parking, and the owners are very friendly and welcoming even when we arrived at about midnight. The living space is very compact but the bedrooms are generous and two bathrooms really made a difference. The outside space and swimming pool are really lovely. "This was a reasonably priced charming 3 bedroom vintage walk up flat with fully equipped kitchen for making light food and snacks. The apartment also a washing machine but for drying clothes there is an outside clothes line--at the kitchen patio area. The apartment location is in the middle of Catania and there is an open air produce market and flea market every morning 7am to 1pm. Most everything you need is within walking distance and about 5 blocks away there is nice upscale shopping area...

"Casa D’aria is a quaint and lovely place for a vacation set in an ideal location in Catania. The eclectic style of the entire building is so interesting and homey. We had excellent communication with the owners leading up to our check in. The room was massive! With the comfiest bed tucked up on a loft. We made use of the full kitchenette and our room even had a washer to do our laundry. The rooftop communal terrace was a great place to enjoy a bottle of wine and listen to the sounds of Catania....
