"We had the best time in this home. It was incredibly clean, welcoming, and easy going. We loved watching the birds and it was such a treat to see so many grosbeaks and chickadees at the well stocked feeders. Grounds are well maintained and the cabin is so private, it feels suspended in the trees. The architecture is not your typical cabin, it was so unique and beautiful. It’s easy to control the temperature, the beds are comfy, and we felt right at home. Walking down the lane while the sun filtered through the trees was healing. Our dog was like a puppy again exploring the woods. If you feel like an outing, we recommend Wander Provisions in Spring Green, the sandwiches were delicious. I imagine the fall colors are spectacular here with all the trees, and cannot wait to come back. Thank you so much!! "

"This property is set up on a ridge surrounded by beautiful fields and trees. I saw Deer and Turkey. The house is super cute, with cabin vibes in design and decoration. Everything was clean, WiFi worked, and it was just peaceful and comfortable. The wind gets a little loud from being up so high and the driveway is a little steep but just adds to the beauty. The surrounding area is gorgeous as well. We will definately be back. "

"Our recent stay at this VRBO in Avoca, Wisconsin, was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the peaceful atmosphere and the sheer number of things to keep us entertained, both at the house and in the surrounding area.The location itself is incredibly serene, offering a true escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We particularly enjoyed spending time outdoors (other than the univited guests: the mosquitoes). The fishing was a highlight, and evenings spent gathered around the fire pit under the stars were truly magical.Venturing out, we had a great time visiting the local Whiskey Row Saloon, which had a friendly and welcoming vibe. A trip to the iconic House on the Rock was also a must-do and provided a truly unique and memorable experience.Back at the VRBO, there was no shortage of entertainment. The basement game area was a hit, providing hours of fun for everyone. The house itself was well-equipped and comfortable. A particularly helpful surprise was discovering an Instant Pot in the cupboard after we'd forgotten our slow cooker – it definitely came in handy!Overall, this Avoca VRBO exceeded our expectations. It offered the perfect blend of relaxation and adventure, with plenty to do for all ages. We left feeling refreshed and with wonderful memories. We highly recommend this gem for anyone looking for a peaceful and fun-filled Wisconsin getaway!"

"We stayed here for two nights in May. This cottage is just stunning. The renovation is modern, yet you get the historical feel it had. The train motif is scattered around in all the rooms. Such a comfy place!There's a rails to trails bike trail right outside the front door. The Bat Cave (bar) is right around the corner from the cottage. The owners and clientele were so fun and friendly. And the countryside with its hills, valleys, farmland, and bluffs makes for a wonderful drive. The Wisconsin River is about a mile away. Communication with the owners was very easy and prompt. We loved staying here and would definitely stay again and recommend.
