"We found the staff very friendly, had a lovely meal in the restaurant with the staff very attentive. The room we were allocated was room 6, a cozy double room even so a chair of some kind would have been useful and yes there was enough room for one. It had a great shower but a shelf in the cubicle would be of great advantage. It would have been helpful to be advised in the advertising of the room that the window in the room was frosted so there were no views from the room."

"Second time we have stayed at the Clifton hotel both times have been a pleasurable stay we booked a room with a wonderful sea view , the room was clean & tidy with a large walk in shower , parking was a breeze using the hotel car park the staff were friendly & helpful we would definitely recommend this hotel A++++"

"Very well appointed; wonderfully kind, helpful staff, second to none. Excellent breakfasts. Several flights of stairs to any rooms, no lift. Street parking only, not ‘on-site’ as listed. We were in quieter season, so street spaces could be found. In itself, a superb hotel."

"You cant go wrong with this place. Staff cant do enough to help, even made our dog so very welcome, beautiful gardens and surroundings, fab breakfast, beautiful room and definitely best hotel we have ever stayed in. If you want to be made very welcome in a beautiful hotel then stay here."
