"This was our third time staying at this cabin and it is our absolute favorite getaway. It has more than everything you could possibly need to enjoy a relaxing and quiet weekend. It is so quiet - we maybe heard one vehicle drive by per day, other than that is the sound of birds and bees and owls and cicadas. We had a mixture of weather during our time - which is what we hoped for. We relaxed by the water when it was sunny, and snuggled up on hammock under the porch during the rain. We enjoyed morning coffee on the porch swing and wine by the fire during sunset. We’d forgotten to pack a few things (pepper, ketchup, coffee), but all of those items and more essentials were available to us, making everything much easier and more comfortable! We ran into town and had burgers at “Close To Home” which we highly recommend. We enjoyed seeing deer, hawks, blue herons, fish, turtles, salamanders, woodpeckers, hummingbirds. Julie was attentive and kind as always. We will be back very soon. "

"Such a cute charming rustic pole barn so much to look at and as husband called it a pool table retreat ! We hadnt played pool in over 20 years and it was so much fun . Enjoyed a local tour of Jack Daniel's Distillery and ate at Drafts and Watercrafts. Such a wonderful husband, wife getaway. Definitely recommend , bed was so soft and dreamy will definitely recommend and return for a fun quick getaway. "

"This house was just perfect for our family, with lots of room, comfy big beds & 3 full baths! This is a lovely remodeled home in a very convenient location close to the Square at Winchester. We enjoyed the spaciousness of the home and also the outdoor area and hot tub. We didn’t have time to use the dock this year, but would recommend a pontoon boat rental! There are paddle boards and they have plenty of life jackets and beach towels. The lake was serene, a great place to stay."
